I recently had a very enjoyable stay at a hotel in a small village with no other amenities apart from a very nice pub about 200 yards away. The location was peaceful and charming, perfect for a quiet retreat. The staff were friendly and attentive, going out of their way to make sure I had everything I needed. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and I was even upgraded, so it was great value for money. I loved the small but thoughtful amenities like bottled water and the comfy beds. The breakfast was fantastic, with veggie sausages made from local ingredients. I had a wonderful experience at this hotel.
